Your Partner in Everyday Wellbeing
Hi, I'm Klaus
I'm a qualified Soft Tissue Therapist, scientist, and founder of Southampton Soft Tissue Therapy.
I help people move more comfortably and stay active, whether the demands on their body come from sport, work or everyday life.
-
One reason I chose to become a soft tissue therapist is that I've experienced many of the challenges my clients face.
I've spent years participating in rowing, cycling and CrossFit, including competitive amateur rowing. Like many active people, I've experienced injuries and the frustration of being unable to train or perform as I wanted due to a lack of mobility.
At the same time, I've also spent much of my professional life working in desk-based roles.
I know what it feels like to spend long hours at a computer, deal with stress and deadlines and notice tension gradually building in the neck, shoulders and back.
Although these lifestyles can seem very different, they often create similar challenges for the body.
Whether you're an office worker, healthcare professional, teacher, parent, tradesperson, recreational or competitive athlete, the physical demands of working life can eventually catch up with you and cause tension, aches and pains.
By qualifying as soft tissue therapist, I found a rewarding way to help people feel better, combining anatomy knowledge and manual skills.

Effective treatment begins with understanding what is going on for you. I focus on identifying what contributes to your aches, pains or movement restrictions through careful evaluation and assessment - not guessing. Treatment is tailored to each client’s needs and anatomy, informed by joint and postural findings.
That means taking time to understand:
What you're experiencing
How it is affecting you
Your daily activities and lifestyle
Your goals and priorities
I use this information to tailor massage treatment to your individual needs rather than applying the same routine to everyone.
My aim is to provide a professional, friendly and supportive environment where you feel listened to and involved in the process.
